This cord is not round like I expected. It's more flat, almost ribbon-like. It's also very thin, probably because it's flat. I bought it for a macrame project, and this cord caused it to be a disaster. Don't recommend!!

We replaced all the draw cords on 6 lightweight bamboo window shades 13 months ago, and now most are disintegrated. Turning to powder. I get to do it all over again. Not recommended.
