Reliable salt that mixes with sediment
Been using reef salt for mixed reef with basic corals and has always had good results. My only gripe is the sediment it leaves in mixed water and a bit cloudy when putin tank. Filterfloss clearsit up pretty quick though once added to water.Good Price / good reef salt

Corals love it. But prepare for longer mixing times.
Be careful with big bags, because the plastic rips very easily. This salt quality makes my corals very happy with a good price point. I’m still inexperienced, so when I switched from what I used before, I noticed the difference in their response to water changes immediately. They open beautifully.Other than that, it does take a bit more time to dissolve than I’d like. The brand I switched from was about the same consistency and dissolved very fast.I have one pico reef and only do 1gal changes at a time, so my mixtures don’t have a lot of salt at all with heaters and bubblers to dissolve it. But it does take over an hour to fully dissolve just a gallon, so even though it dissolves better when water reaches ideal reef temperatures, add it in a little earlier than your water reaches desired temp while aerating, but crank up the aeration and just make sure your mixing container is well-covered. Probably do a periodic manual mixing or run a small pump in your container, if you do big changes. If you add it after waiting for warm-up, you’ll still wait as long as you’re already waiting for the mixture to aerate and fully heat for transfer. Only changes are: increasing aeration/+physical mixing for large changes and prepping for a bit of splash-back with the right coverage
