Okay, yes, I AM a candle snob, but this is SO not a great candle in SO many ways! First, it came melted. All over the inside of the box, all over the jar itself. The candle was down more than 1/4 inch, so quite a lot of melted wax. At first I shrugged and thought "well, it IS hot"...buuuut, no hotter than any of the other candles I have purchased and the worst I've had is oil sweating out, so that's strike one. Then I (clean it up and) light it. It smokes. It smokes! I can't remember the last time I had a candle that SMOKED. Not even the cute but cheap ones I get at target! Third: it has NEXT TO NO fragrance. Pass it up. Pass it up hard. Terrible.
