Easy first sewing project!
The sewing kit is great! Well worth your money. My granddaughter age 7 is having a great time completing the sewing projects. Each project is its own bag so there is no confusion or sorting out material. She jumped right in an did 2 projects the first day and feels very proud that she can sew.

Teach the grandkids to sew
These kids have been great! Ease to understand - helps with math to measure the string, coordination to thread the need, reading/pictures for understand, confidence they build to "see" results, then bonus they give what the make away to their teachers and parents!

Great 1st learn to sew kit.
My granddaughter love this and she is learning to sew so well. She started on the projects right away and has already completed most of them.

Scissors is useless, but don't let that deter your purchase! Wonderful product!
Each of the projects are individually wrapped with several kid appropriate needles. Our 5 year old niece absolutely loved this kit and it was her first experience with sewing. (Please note that the scissors is useless and doesn't cut the thread), but this was of high quality felt and individually wrapped thread. We watched the video that demonstrated the running stitch, back stitch and whip stitch and she wanted to try them all. This would make a perfect gift for your inquisitive child. Just offer a little help with the knots, and they'll be ready to go. She was so proud of her accomplishment.

Great Gift Idea
Great kit for a first time sewer. I picked this up for my granddaughter who likes to do crafts and plan to spend some time with her to assist her with completing her projects. I like that this is intended for beginners, I think the age range should be advanced to 6 or 7 year olds. You get 7 individual crafts to do which makes this a good value.
