Core Light Healing: My Personal Journey and Advanced Healing Concepts for Creating the Life You Long to Live

Hi everyone! I am a Reiki Master Teacher, and I'm always looking to expand my knowledge on healing & energetics. I have Barbara Brennan's "Hands of Light" book, and was blow-away, so I had to order this book and read everything else Brennan has written. Great price for the book and it includes so much information that is easy to understand. I recommend Brennan's books to my Reiki students as well.

Great book, but you get only an extensive list of all the illustrations in the beginning of the book, because you need to download them separately as an pdf file. That's a way 🙄 one can save printing ink too. But not the one I would prefer.

I read Hands of Light before receiving my first energy healing session and it helped to be more aware of what to expect helping me to relax and be receptive in one of the most powerful sessions I've ever had. There is integrity and honesty in her work. She tells it as she sees it, helping to facilitate the opening of a greater perspective on this human experience for many of us. I have not finished this book yet but what I've read so far is great, but when referencing Figure Illustrations and the front cover itself says "Illustrated by Aurelien Pumayana Floret and Bonya Yu" and there isn't a single illustration in the book, it's quite disappointing. I wonder if somewhere in some boardroom at Hay House someone decided, "well, print it anyway. The information is still important even if there are no illustrations." The book is much smaller than it's predecessors and to be honest, I really wish it were the same size as her other two books. Hopefully, there will be a new edition or printing and this mistake will be corrected as I feel like this was a misstep. I'd buy a companion book of illustrations if it were available.

Let me be clear. This is a 5 star plus book, BUT the illustrations are integral and essential to it. The book deals in depth with the Human Energy System, and Human Consciousness, as well as healing. The illustrations show energy fields and blockages in them, in great detail, in a way that most people cannot see for themselves. The illustrations are based on Barbara Brennan's High Sense Perception, developed over years, that enabled her to see these fields clearly. It is hard to understand and appreciate her work without them.The paperback edition that I ordered specifically so that I could refer to and share the illustrations with friends, was listed as the 2nd edition, July 2022. It is smaller in format than the 1st Edition, that did include all of the illustrations in color plates. The Kindle edition also includes the illustrations in color.If you are looking for a print copy of this book with illustrations look for a first edition. Someone, either at Hay House or Amazon, made a huge error in judgement excluding them from this edition.As far as the value of the book goes, with the illustrations, it is invaluable. It provides an in-depth explanation of the human creative process, and along the way posits that we, and everything in the universe, came out of a universal field of consciousness that exists independently of the human mind. This is completely different from the prevailing view that the material universe came first, and was the source of life, which then became the source of consciousness in human beings. I believe the view expressed in this book will eventually become the prevailing view, and the book will be recognized as a seminal work in the understanding of ourselves and the universe.

I own Hands Of Light and Light Emerging, and expected many illustrations with Core Light Healing, but there were none, so I can't use this book unless I can also SEE the applied concepts. The book was also damaged (bent back cover). Is there another version available with illustrations? Thank you.
