Fantastic Rv roof sealant tape!
I use this product to seal around my skylights after replacing them and also sealing with caulk. Product adheres nicely and bonds to any clean surface!

Just received it.
My guess is the manufacturer thinks everyone who buys this is an RV expert, not including any instructions.

Excellent adhesion; butyl oozed out on edges
I had a lot of cracking around my skylight flange with the original liquid sealant. First, after cleaning the area with a brass wire brush (not too aggressive so as to damage underlying roofing membrane) and alcohol, I applied this over the seam/damaged area. It sticks immediately, so make certain of placement before touching the surface with the tape. The only issue I did notice was some oozing of the butyl at the edges of the tape - it may be due to the heat (92) and that I used a roller like is used on butyl sound deadening over it after it was down and compressed it too hard, but the edges collected plenty of dirt - until the dirt covered the sticky part. In any case, the tape is on solid and is a good product to seal your RV roof.

Sticks Immediately; Sealed Crack around Vent and Holes on RV
Our older RV is slowly needing repair as vacations and harsh weather seems to be impacting the structure more than ever. One of the areas we've needed to work on was around the vent and the skylights as you could see small tiny holes opening in the caulking. Before heading out on our final travel of the year, I wanted to seal everything up in case of rain. The RV roof tape is very sticky and it is one of the most adhesive items I've ever seen. It sticks immediately. Which is why I recommend before using you have the surface ready as the sealant works super well, but it is a handful setting it in place. There were two of us working on the skylight and we still had trouble trying to make sure it didn't bubble and stay in the expected area. However once this roof tape is set, the results are spectacular. We have sealed the crack around the vent and we also sealed several holes along seams and indentations. These areas are sealed and no longer a worry that moisture will find it's way into the RV.

sticky like bubble gum on your shoe, excellent
a bit tricky to keep it from sticking to your fingers, or anything else, when dispensing, unrolling, peeling, applying, but not impossible.for clarification, its sticky on one sideand heavy, this whopper sized box feels like its 3kgi used it to patch downspout hole in my rain gutterdimensions were perfectcuts easily with scissors, didn't gum up the scissors as i was concernedi put the backing back on the underside exposed hole circle, so as to not ensnare any critters, birds, butterflies, bees, geckos, etc.they will have no chance with this sticky taperained 3x since, and no leaksmine came boxed in great condition, unlike some other reviewers mentionedi guess it depends on your delivery carriersee photosThanks LLPT
