Easy to Install and Quiet

Misleading advertisements
The product does seem well made but the advertisement is misleading at best.This muffler does not quieten down my Generac generator at all. I would have to say it may be the same decibel level at best. I would not recommend to anyone wanting to make their generator quieter. All it seems to do is take the standard generator noise and change it to a motor bike sound.

Easy to use
I connected directly behind present muffler using provided tape to seal between muffler and provided pipe before and after clamps. Seems to have helped dampen exterior noise from generator besides fumes.

Indoor outdoor generator exhaust
Performed as described not as quite as I expected but it gets the exhaust outside.

Great solution
I was able to drill through my metal shed and exhaust the generator fumes out. No automatic carbon monoxide shutdown now so I can leave it in my shed running. I'll need a fan now to keep it cooler in the summer if I need to run it.

No way to contact manufacturer.
I just bought this product. It comes with "Fiberglass Cloth Aluminum Foil Tape". Nowhere in the product's enclosed instructions, nor on the video shown on the Amazon product page does it mention that tape during installation. Where is it supposed to be used. The product instructions imply that if you go to the Amazon product page there is a button "contact seller". There isn't. Had I known it was impossible to contact the company I'd have chosen a different company's product.
