As a long-time quilter (36 years) I have become a bit of a fabric snob. That's why I'm not over-the-moon impressed with these fabrics. I ordered the red set specifically to fill in a gap In my red scrap quilt stash. Out of the 10 pieces I can add 8 to this stash so in that regard this product is a win. The other 2 did not qualify for me to classify them as red, but will go into my pink scrap bin.The designs are "meh", and one has too much neutral color space to be used as red if I just cut it into strips. However, I can fussy cut this one into small 1.5 inch squares so that it will read as red in a quilt. I always remember the best advice I got from a famous quilter, "If you don't love the design on the fabric and figure you'll never use it in a quilt, just cut it smaller."Lastly, the quality is also "meh". I'd say it's the same as the bargain brand you find in your local franchise of the major fabric/craft store. These are definitely not quilt store quality.

The media could not be loaded. This is excellent 10x10 fabric squares! It's 100% breathable cotton. It's so easy to work with and to sew. Placing a lining or interface it a breeze.

That being said, I may just have to throw them in the washer and dryer to soften them up. But overall, I love the color palette, and having pre-cut fabric is always a bonus.
