Beautiful Damascus pattern. The balance and weight are great. The knife slices through meats and veggies like butter. This knife is far sharper than my cheaper chefs and kitchen knives I bought in a bulk pack for the same price. This point was wildly punctuated when I cut my thumb and had no idea until my husband pointed out that I was bleeding on the bone-in ham.Pro tip: remember proper finger and thumb placement when cutting. My thumb slipped and got caught under the *back* of the knife.Long bloody story short, this is a beautifully well crafted knife that is meant for folks who know how to properly handle knives. Respect the razor’s edge!!

I got 2 of these and I've been using them daily for 4 months. Still very, very sharp. Even cutting directly on marble counter doesn't dull them. No special care. Just wash and air dry in rhe dish rack. No rust or discoloration. I belive that these are genuine forged damascus steel. The pattern is different between the 2 of them. They're not just a printed pattern. Under magnification you can tell it's real. Love these knives. Highly recommended.

Im very picky about my knives my cooking knives they are always expensive which i understand sometimes cuz they are very good.I got this knife and im soo soo soo like wow like omggg and i mean omg it cut through my whole chicken like it’s butter I didn’t have to put strength in it.Its its soooo beautiful light easy to use and hold the size its perfect and the grip too and balance i just love love it.I just checked if i can but the whole set like all of them but InshAllah in the future i will God willing

The knife is really sharp and light. It is thinner than a cleaver. It is superior to other knife shapes for cutting vegetables. But...the Damascus appearance is a laser etch, not Damascus steel. I'm not sure why they went to the trouble of etching the surface. The knife is of good value, and it holds an edge. I took a star off because I occasionally have to explain to people who comment when they see it, informing me the blade is not Damascus, like I was fooled when I purchased it or I don't know what Damascus is.
