In 2021 I got a generator, ran electrical hookups to my main box, and got ready to use the generator.However, I wanted to be able to run it in my shop, I thought about running the exhaust out the wall but there were not any good kits to do it at the time.When I came across this kit it had everything I wanted AND MORE. I wanted a way to feed the exhaust out of the wall, but I needed an adapter for my exhaust. This comes with the exhaust adapter, the wall hole plate, AND a muffler/sound reducer. This kit met all of my expectations, it had all the needed hardware, even gaskets for mating it to the generator.This is a great buy if you plan to keep this in your shop or want to keep your generator out of the elements and extend the exhaust.

The exhaust pipe was crushed plus it was the wrong size. It did not fit to the adaptor or the muffler.

The flex pipe that came with this was garbage. I purchased used and mine was damaged, but with a little work, I was able to straighten it out. It also did not fit on the piece that goes through the wall. That's not why I consider it to be garbage, once I started my generator, the flex hose disintegrated in several spots allowing the exhaust out. The two additional pieces that come with this kit, the piece that attaches to the generator and the piece that goes through the wall with the muffler are well constructed and I'm pleased with those. FYI, the sizes for the tubes on the generator piece and the through wall piece is 2 inches. I went to my local auto parts store and purchased Flex Hose and an elbow and those worked much better,One issue with the through wall piece is the muffler slides in and out of the bracket. There isn't a set screw or anyway to hold that in place. Not a huge issue because the flex hose should hold it in place for the most part. I drilled a pilot hole and then installed a self drilling screw to lock mine in place. Worked like a charm.

Excellent quality and good price.

We retrofitted this to use in our towable enclosed trailer that we take tailgating. It allows us to quietly run our generator at the tailgate in a safe manner. A good option as opposed to spending way more money on a quieter generator that could just end up getting stolen or broken.

I got this for the diesel heater in my garage. It was easy to install, and now i dont have to worry about the heat from the exhaust burning the wall. It does just come with tape to seal the joints, but im not worried, as i keep a carbon monoxide detector in the garage.

This kit is a great idea, but the execution falls short as the flex pipe arrived damaged. Other than that, it would be a solid kit. Better packaging or quality control could make this a much better product.
