Description

brilliant programme

Enjoyable
Really enjoyed Ellis. Very low key but makes sure all know she’s there to get things done. Like her sargent, brings some bright uplift to show. They work well together. Look forward to more seasons.

LOVED this series and Sharon D Clarke is a wonder & treasure. The stories are mysterious & well paced. HOPING for a series 2!

Worth it
I took a gamble with this and it was full house win. I thought it was going to be slow which I hate, but instead the excellent acting and story made it a win. I am looking forward to the next dvd.

Clever stories with no ‘padding’
Too many crime dramas that last for 90 minutes are actually 45 minutes of story and the same again in meaningless ‘padding’. Not so with Ellis, strong stories and plenty to think about for the full time. Sharon D Clarke is marvellous as the lead character and there is an amusing relationship between her and her sidekick, Andrew Gower. Absolutely recommended if you’re in to your crime dramas…

New detective series - good actors and stories. Will probably get series 2 when it comes out. Speedy delivery.
