Wanted a way to fit a wall panel with an option of easy access to cables hidden behind it and with no fixings showing, the usual trade centres didn't have anything suitable. Was about to make my own brackets but came across these on a google search.......they are a great product and suited my needs and saved me time.They work well and are simple to fit. I managed to Install all with the marker guide included .....all fitted well except 2 which I had to reposition after looking up instructions on buttonfix website. Would have been better if instructions were included but website easy enough to use and find info.Would use again if needed.

All good but buy the fixing tool as well

The mechanism is effective at clamping the panel to any structure put in place to support it. Getting the top and bottom clip (if a pair are used) to pull the panel in correctly can be tricky as any deviations can cause gaps. An iterative process of adjustment may be required to get the best result, including use of a chisel to create a recess in the wood to allow the clip to sit flush to the surface.

Used as panel fixings in a bathroom environment. Nice quality, good materials of construction, non corrosive, robust and simple. Perfect for my needs.

You only get one template (red) plastic bit to mark the screw holes for the black plastic bit when you really need two as a minimum and four ideally.On that basis it was far more fiddly to fit than it should have been as I had to do one button fixing at a time. If you bought more bags of these fixing you would then end up with more templates but I didn't need more (I only used four).Fixing the button part (using a back fitting and template) was very easy though, as it was all held in place and required a single screw.Screwing the back fitting onto the 12mm MDF panel I had was more fiddly as screws were not the answer, I had to use 3mm bolt fixings to ensure the screws were not ripped out whilst taking the panel off - they are held VERY firmly which is great until you want to remove that panel.Now that I've got some experience with them I would use them again but I'd order another pack just to get that red template part to make the job quicker (and more accurate).

what a great little kit, very easy to use just fit ring fit clasp and marking pins push panel into place. marks the panel dont even have to measure, ive bought anouther set used on hidden toilet cistern and kitchen island back panel.excellent!
