I tried several plastic replacement shower heads, but none of them improved our spray, and they leaked. The HammerHead shower and its parts are all made of metal! The packaging is excellent, and every effort is made to ensure the parts are protected. You are provided with extra washers, nozzles, and the Teflon tape necessary to attach and seal the shower holder to the shower arm. The shower holder is adjustable and fits the shower handle perfectly. Again, it is made of metal, unlike almost every other option out there. A nice touch is the caps on the metal hose, which clearly differentiate between the hose ends, ensuring you install it correctly. Also, all the required washers are already in place. Some of the washers have a screen filter to prevent debris from entering the shower head. We have the 2.5 gpm model, and the flow is excellent. The water sprays from the floor of the shower to just about the top of the wall. Being metal, the shower handle is heavier than the plastic one, but it is still comfortable to hold. The grip is smooth, but it might become slippery; however, it hasn't been an issue for us. The metal handle can transfer some heat, but it never gets too hot to hold, and some may like the warmth. There is the HammerHead Showers Skark Skin Silcon Grip that fits perfectly and increases grip. We purchased the grip and will review that item separately. We like the HammerHead Showers All Metal Handheld Shower Head so much that we bought another on the same day the first one was installed. There are many colors and finish options available to fit any bath decor. We would highly recommend it.

I live in an apartment, and I can be very picky when it comes to water pressure. I prefer to have higher pressure, as opposed to different spray features. I also find it can be extremely difficult to find a shower head that is not only well made, but maintains good water pressure and a wide spray. I purchased this based off other reviews and have been thoroughly pleased so far for the past several months. The water pressure I have now is almost 2 or 3 times what I was experiencing with the Home Depot shower head I had. The other one was fine, but it quit on me after 2.5 years. I was dreading looking for a replacement and came across this. I'm really hoping it holds true, and the lifetime warranty is a great added benefit. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would purchase again.

I have purchased many hand held shower assemblies. I pay attention to reviews and not price. When I tell you THIS IS THE BEST please believe me. I have purchased 2 of the “so called” hotel quality and both sprayers went cockeyed and one started leaking. That was in last 6 months.When I got in the shower with this one OMG the difference was astounding. Strong spray and it goes in the direction it’s supposed to. I feel so clean and rinsed it’s amazing.So easy to install! Just follow the directions. Love, Love, Love it.

This is an update on my original post. Took a shower today and the water pressure was amazing. As it turned out, our town was experiencing low water pressure. Now that it's back to normal and we know it was not the shower heads problem, I have to give this 5 stars. I would buy it again and will for the other shower.

Quality is there. The water pressure isn’t as good as others or as advertised. I ended up getting one with better pressure but made of plastic. Wish they could meet the others in pressure.

My wife wanted to replace our plastic shower head with an all metal one. We decided on the hammerhead after doing some research. I have to say it’s really well made. I would have expected to spend a lot more for a shower head of this quality. A lot of the bigger brands are charging more for their plastic constructed shower heads.

This is the shower head I've been searching for! I've been using recognizable, name brand, handheld shower heads for decades. They all offer numerous different spray options, are predominantly plastic, with gears and moving parts that eventually leak or fail. All I've ever wanted was ONE, POWERFUL shower stream to clean me and the shower efficiently and effectively. You can feel the quality of the solid metal construction of the Hammerhead in your hands. It produces a strong, concentrated, satisfying flow of water. The design is sleek, simple, and lovely. The brushed nickel finish is beautiful and blends well with all the other brushed nickel fixtures in the bathroom. So far, it has resisted any spotting or staining. This showered is worth every penny. I highly recommend.
