101 Answers to Questions About the Book of Revelation

As someone who has been interested in the book of Revelation for many years, I have acquired, over the years, many books about the Bible's last book; however, most of them remain unread. However, I recently obtained this book, because of my continuing interest in Bible prophecy, in general; and the book of Revelation, in particular. I have not been disappointed!This book is excellent!! If you have ever wondered about the last book of the Bible and/or been fascinated by it, as I have, then you MUST get this book! Mark Hitchcock earned his Ph.D at Dallas Theological Seminary, and is the senior pastor of Faith Bible Church in Edmund, OK. He did his doctoral dissertation at the seminary on a particular aspect of the book of Revelation, and has done a lot of study on it, as is evident from reading this book. Although Dr. Hitchcock has written a number of books on the subject of Bible prophecy, this one is specifically on the book of Revelation. If you have ever wondered about "the mark of the beast;" or who the Nicolaitans were; or how to understand the seven churches in chapters 2-3 of Revelation; or many other things about the book; then you will appreciate this gem of a book. Although this very helpful resource on Revelation is scholarly, it is also very readable, and is written in a very orderly and logical fashion--discussing the book's interpretation and background first; and then, going section-by-section through the book sequentially, addressing specific questions about various things in the book of Revelation. Dr. Hitchcock is a very gifted teacher, as this book makes clear. I can't recommend it too highly, and I pray God will give it the wide circulation it so richly deserves!

In my 50+ years of being a born-again Christian, I have reluctantly read through the book of Revelation numerous times but continued to be confused by all the symbolism. I just didn’t get it. So I recently prayed that God would open my eyes to the book of Revelation. My new Message Bible version helped a great deal, enough so that I could hardly wait to read each chapter!Then I saw an advertisement for Mark Hitchcock’s book, 101 Answers to Questions About the Book of Revelation. Purchased as an e-book, I especially liked his writing style of comparing the Bible scholars’ research, then adding his personal conclusions taken from his scholarly research.Only God knows 100% what the symbolism means, but I believe that this book very clearly helped me to understand the book of Revelation as no other source before now. I feel so blessed.

Love the book my friend let me borrow his. I wanted to write notes so I gave his back and bought my own.

I love the study of the future in the Bible. Easy to understand. Bible verses are given for explanations.I now have a better understanding of questions I have asked.

Concise and direct. Question format hits head on the common questions most asked about the Book of Revelation. Answers have depth but text is very readable, absent of heavy academic terms. Highly recommend this book as a “must read” for better understanding the Book of Revelation.

Very good book! Easy to understand and to the point. I like that he gives other views for some of the questions before stating what view he holds to as well. I learned new interesting things from this. I have this book and Russia Rising by Mark Hitchcock and will continue buying more of his books!

I enjoyed this book tremendously. I am now going to read the book of revelations and see how much this book has helped me understand what I am about to read. The explanations in this book and the views of the author are very helpful.

Excellent book on Revelation! Easy to read and follow....love all the extra details that make studying Revelation even more enjoyable! Great resource!
