What is not to love?With milk added, it gives me a latte alternative that is quite delicious.Iced, I drink it as a tea alternative.I grew up where iced tea was served for lunch, dinner, snacks, and anytime a cold beverage was called for.As a teen and a young adult anytime I was tested, it showed that I was anemic. No wonder.I learned many years later that drinking tea with your meals prevents the body from absorbing the iron in your meal. Go figure. No one ever mentions that. They should be shouting it from the rooftops.If you search very carefully, you can find confirmation of that fact on the Mayo Clinic website. I did.This provides the perfect solution for a beverage with your meals.It is yummy and good for you.I brew it in either my coffee maker or my iced tea maker. Either way, make sure you clean out all the baskets and the drip spout after brewing. If you fail to do clean everything, eventually your machine will clog, and a big mess will ensue. Learn from my mistakes. Give everything a good rinse after you brew with this. It has a very fine grind.This will now be a permanent pantry item. It is healthy and quite tasty.I am so happy to have discovered it.

It behaves just like turkish or arabic coffee in that it is so finely ground that I did make more than I wanted so I could pour the liquid part into my cup and save the rest for the next day, while the ground will stay in the bottom of the pan. It is fantastic to get my coffee fix without caffeine and just as important without glyphosate. I will be checking out the other products from this brand to see if they have other flavors.

1st time having this. It is good snd I like that there's no caffeine I'll probably mix it Coffig, which I love.will purchase again.

The first bag was great until half way through. Truly tastes like date water after that and smells it too. Before when fresh tastes and smells like coffee. Second bag was straight date from the start and mixed with regular coffee to use up since food products are non refundable with Amazon. I wish it came in smaller bags so it would all stay fresh longer.

I did my research when the doctor said I had to quit caffeine. Dates, like coffee beans, increase dopamine in the brain, which helps with clearing brain fog and being able to pay attention. I tried the date coffee on a day when I was particularly tired and foggy, it works. One cup date coffee having an effect equal to two cups of regular coffee for me. (I don't use coffee for energy, coffee doesn't have that effect on me, it actually calms my energy, so I can't speak to that in comparison).I ordered the cardamom version first because I have gi issues and cardamom is known for helping with that. The only reason I gave four stars, and it could just be me, is that the cardamom seems too strong. It could be that I'm not used to it, or I brewed it wrong. I've ordered the cinnamon cocoa version to try next. But date coffee is definitely the morning drink for me.Edit: After using this for a month and almost to the bottom of the bag, the cardamom doesn't bother me as much.

From the moment I opened the package, I was surprised at the nice aroma of the cardamom flavor.It was quick and simple to prepare.I’m not an avid coffee drinker. I’m more of a tea guy. So, I was somewhat skeptical that it would be too similar to coffee. It in fact played a good mind game on me: not like coffee, but great coffee alternative.The dates component was very rich and pretty balanced. I enjoyed drinking it as is - without any sweetener or additives; because I prefer my tea (and rarely coffee) black. It went down smoothly and immediately sold me on how good of quality it is.The remnants of the dates was obvious. Upon researching further I learned that some of health benefits is from actually consuming the date seeds. I chewed it and it was palatable.More than anything, I’m most satisfied with the nutritional values and health benefits from consuming this product. In less than two hours I was drinking my second cup of MediDates. I shared the second pour with a dear friend of mine. She also loved it. Even so much that at first she said she just wanted to taste mine, but ended up with an entire cup for herself. She then tried it with liquid creamer and loved it.Because of the versatility, taste, and health benefits, I think coffee drinkers, tea drinkers, those who like their beverage black, and also those who like to add sweeteners will be able to enjoy and love this. Plus it’s healthy.This will now be my go-to hot beverage. I may even experiment with making it into a cold brew.

This product tastes and behaves like parched dirt, seriously! It does not dissolve in the cup and does not taste very good. It all settles to the bottom of the cup. I will not be buying this again.
