Music Box: The Nutcracker Russian Ballet Music Box

This is a beautiful music box. It is a little smaller than I expected, but the artwork is perfect. The song is pretty, but plays very fast . Bought for my cousin who danced with the Russian Ballet at Christmastime. She loved it!

The music is running fast tempo and short.

So my mom had this exact music box when I was a child and I never knew it’s history I remembered that it got broken and after sometime it disappeared so I decided to replace it and I’ve been watching this item for over a year and finally was able to purchase it for my mom. She didn’t know and when she received it the packaging made her think it was a food item because it was in full, so she opened it, not knowing, and as a result called me, and then cried and told me the history of the music box and why she loved it so much turns out it was as old as my oldest brother who is in his 40s now thank you for selling this item because of you I was able to give my mom back some good memories best president of the year !

The box is nice but the music player is wonky and varies in speed. Especially given the time it's really creepy. And the clip is very short, about 8 bars of the tune.

It was smaller than I thought but the painting is beautiful and my tiny little ballerina loved it.

Thought it would be large enough to place a trinket or two inside. But, this is a very small music box. I failed to check the size before I made the purchase. Returned it.
