Do not buy
Despite using boiling water, powder never completely dissolved. Hedgehog body did not adhere to tape on the plastic frame. The plastic body frame also floated in solution. Once I was able to force it down and it stayed submerged, nothing happened. Granular martial formed on cup bottom, but no crystals grew on the actual hedgehog. A complete waste of money and I have a disappointed little girl. Fairly expensive for what you get EVEN if it had worked.

Misleading
This was misleading, thought there were 4 not just 1.

Used
Product was a 2nd time buying and the first time was great. However, this package looked used as the product looked like it was already put together when in the past it was not. It was too late to return as we needed the product right then. The item was cracked and didn't grow like the previous one did before. Would not buy again and extremely dissappointed.

Good, but follow directions closely
This is a cool science project. Kinda messy, and needs adult supervision 100% of the time. The end product is nice. The face did get covered in crystals, but it was easy to scrape off. Follow the directions and it works fine. Dissolving the crystal powder is the hardest part.

A dud.
Garbage. Did not work. Crystals did not grow where they were supposed to on hedgehog and I had a pretty disappointed 7 year old. We have had success and had fun with other crystal growing kits—the novelty and cuteness of this one caught my daughter’s eye fir Christmas, but it just plain didn’t work. Bummer.
