It does contain sugar, however no artificial sweetener. This is the second time I bought this and will order it again soon. The price is right and the product is excellent

Yes, this marmalade is definitely bitter with nice thick cut peels. I'm addicted to it. By the way, are you in TICA, The International Cat Association? We purchased our 2 Oriental Shorthairs from a breeder who shows in TICA.

Q: is this vegan? i mean, does it use fruit pectin or animal bone pectine?

There is no such thing as animal bone pectin.
