a woman in a man's vest
I bought this for myself, a woman and at that age where you get very hot and its not from the sun. First thought of the vest was not good. It was so light and cheap looking material but it had plenty of pockets, etc . Price was right. Less then half the cost of all my other name brand fishing vests. Turns out to be my favourite! It is so light and breathable that I forgot all about those night sweats during a day of fishing. Just wish they could make dresses out of the same material. I recommend this product.

Cheap material. Short vest.
I got this for my Halloween costume to be Owen Gray from Jurassic World. It was way shorter than the vest in the movie but for the price, I used it for the costume. However, this thing is literally made out of material of a reusable Harris teeter bag and it is so short it’s like a crop top.

Great inexpensive fishing vest
Good basic vest with lots of pockets for the price! I ordered Large, and it is sized just a bit larger than needed, probably to allow it to fit well over a heavy shirt if need be. But that works fine for me. I was also looking to wear it over my compact paddle sport PFD in my kayak, and that even works OK and is not too tight, though it might be even better fit one size larger. If you want to wear it over a full size PFD, definitely go one size larger than you normally would, and/order one normal size and a second one for over the PFD. This saves having to buy a separate and very expensive custom fishing PFD for a boat, kayak or canoe, and even if you need two, the total cost is less!

Inferior material
This product seemed good, but we realized the material was very flimsy and easy to tear. I would not recommend.

The jacket is made of material that feels and looks like Cross hatched paper. It is breathable, but material will pilfer and spread in time. Good for a youth that fishes periodically. Many pockets, but due to the light weight material the pockets will only hold light weight odds and ends. Not keeping this gear, gifting to Nephew.

Can concur on the main detracting points. This vest is made of the same material as recycled shopping bags. Great if you need something light but cheap looking otherwise. If I remember correctly, this is a common mayoral for this brand.Two: the best is short. So short. To your ribs short. Touch the bottom of your ribs, then scoot up a bit. It’s gonna fall there. See my photo for how this played out on a 6’2” male. Three: absolutely not brown as in photos. It’s a weird muddy gray.Unfortunately I saw the reviews well after mine had been shipped. If you’re petite this could work for you but it is not a standard fitting vest.

Great surf fishing vest
For what I wanted to use this vest for (surf fishing) and at the price I paid, this was an excellent buy! I normally wear a size large, but I got an XL based on someone's review that it runs on the small side. Glad I did; over a shirt, polar fleece vest and light jacket plus neoprene chest highs I had plenty of room left to move about comfortably. Plenty of pockets to store lures, weights, plus pockets high enough to store my iPhone, wallet and car keys without getting them wet.If you don't mind that paper-cardboard feel of "typical" Frogg Togg outerwear you'll really like this vest. Great buy!
